- I was born/raised in Attalla, Alabama. I went to the University of Alabama, graduated in '99, and eventually became a Registered Dietitian. I worked in clinical dietetics for many many years, but taught diabetes self-management classes the last few years. I am currently a stay at home Mom and I love that even more. I have a 2 year old Charlie, my sweet boy, and an 8 month old Alana. They keep me very busy...oh and a husband in the Army who is currently deployed.
